Skills for Life – Exhibition!

For the past two years, we have been working in various primary schools with young children focusing on ‘The House’.

During our first year, we made a mini timber frame house with the children and objects are needed in our daily lives were made – stools, rugs, pots, baskets and shoes.

During our second year, we built a mini log cabin with the children.

The children have developed and practiced their fine motor skills whilst gaining confidence. They have learned practical skills that will be useful throughout their lives.

This project has had a positive impact on children’s perseverance, stamina and creativity.

And now, we get to share what we have made with you all!

The exhibition will be running from the 21st of May – 3rd of July 2022 at the Riverside Gallery in Bovey Tracey.
