We are very excited to announce that we have been successful in getting funding from GWR’s (Great Western Railway) community fund to run our project ‘Women Build!’ Check out GWR’s press release about our project here.
We are delivering this project free of charge for women who are un-employed.
It’s a project for women, run by women, focused on improving our mental well-being through carpentry and woodworking, opening pathways into employment or education.
- learn carpentry, woodworking and DIY skills
- meet new people and be part of a supportive group
- learn how to improve and take care of their own mental health
- have 1-2-1 sessions with our Well-being Coordinator
- be supported by skilled female facilitators
- feel empowered!
Please spread the word and let other women know about this unique opportunity to take part!
